About

Hayley Anderson is an Artist, Printmaker, and socially engaged arts practitioner from North East Scotland.

Her work predominantly revolves around printmaking, installation art, and textile design, with a strong focus on exploring the intricate connections between nature, personal identity, and the surrounding environment.

Hayley's core focus is on examining how women's storytelling and art can be reinterpreted in today's society, particularly through the lens of Scottish Mythology. Her work, both personal and within the community, seeks to spark discussions on how individual experiences can be leveraged in professional and social contexts, and influenced by culture, community, and class.

Furthermore, Hayley has conducted creative workshops for diverse organisations in the UK and the United Arab Emirates, where her venture, Buff and Blue, was established. She also collaborates with individual and commercial clients to produce hand-printed commissioned pieces.
